From Pennsylvania Turnpike Exit 326: Leave the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Exit 326 (Valley Forge) and take Route 202 North. Keep driving north onto
Route 202; the King of Prussia Mall will be on the left side of the road.
Continue straight ahead for about three miles, crossing the Dannehower Bridge over the Schuylkill River, where Route 202 becomes Markley St. and meets Main Street in Norristown. Make a right turn onto Main Street and proceed past three traffic lights to the
Southeast Regional Office at the corner of Main and Swede streets, across from the Montgomery County Court House.
From Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt. 276) Exit 333: Leave the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Exit 333 (Norristown) and go west on Germantown Pike for one mile to Sandy Hill Road (traffic light). Turn left onto Sandy Hill Road for approximately 2.5 miles into Norristown. Sandy Hill Road becomes East Airy Street. Turn left onto Swede Street and proceed to the next traffic light. This is the
intersection of Main and Swede streets.
Or:
Exit the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Exit 333
(Norristown) and go east on Germantown Pike about .5 miles to Chemical Road. Make right on Chemical Road and take to Ridge Pike. Make a right on Ridge,
which turns into Main
Street in Norristown. Follow to intersection of Main and Swede streets. The Southeast Regional Office in on your left.
From Philadelphia, Delaware County and other areas South and East: From I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) or I-95, take
Route 476 (Blue
Route)
North and take the exit for Norristown (18 B). At the off ramp make
a right turn (Chemical
Road) to
the next intersection at Ridge Pike. Make a right turn onto Ridge Pike and
follow west for about four miles until it becomes Main Street in Norristown. Follw until you come to
the intersection of Main and Swede streets. The Southeast Regional Office is
on your left.
From Philadelphia International Airport: Take Route 95 South to Route 476 (Blue
Route) (approximately 6 miles) toward Plymouth
Meeting. Proceed North on 476 to the Norristown exit 7B.
Refer to the Main Line, I-76, or I-95
directions to DEP office.
From West Chester and other areas South and West: take Route 202
North past the King of Prussia Mall on the left side of the road. Continue
North on 202 for about three miles and cross the Dannehower Bridge over the Schuylkill River. Where Route
202 meets Main
Street in Norristown make a right turn onto Main Street. Proceed
past three traffic lights to the Southeast Regional Office at the corner of Main and Swede streets
From Lansdale, Montgomeryville or North: Take Route 202 South past Suburban General
Hospital to Johnson
Highway (where the road becomes one-way). Turn
right onto Johnson Highway
and go to second traffic light (Markley St.)
Turn left onto Markley St.
and continue for approximately 6 blocks, until you come to Swede
Street. Turn left and follow for eight blocks to
intersection of Main and Swede streets.
From Pottstown and areas West: There are two basic routes from Pottstown
itself.
1. Take
High St. eastbound to Limerick where it turns into
Ridge Pike (basically the same road because there are no turns). Stay on
Ridge Pike through Limerick, Trappe and Collegeville.
Cross the bridge over the Perkiomen Creek and stay to
the right towards Norristown, where Ridge Pike turns
into Main Street. Stay on Main
Street in Norristown to the
DEP office at Main and Swede streets.
2. Take Route
422 eastbound to the Oaks exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp turn right onto
Egypt Rd. Stay on Egypt Road
until it dead ends at Main Street.
Turn right on Main Street
to Norristown. Stay on Main
Street to the DEP office at the intersection of Main
and Swede streets.
Upper Perkiomen Valley
Take Rt. 29 south to Collegeville, then turn left on Main
Street and follow to Norristown.
Public transportation DEP’s Southeast Regional Office is across from Norristown's
Transportation Center
on Lafayette Street. SEPTA’s Route 100
Suburban Rail Line, 69th
Street Terminal to Norristown
and SEPTA's R6
Regional Rail Line, Center
City to Norristown,
are accessible to the Regional Office. SEPTA also has many bus routes that come into Norristown's
Transportation Center.

Parking: Free and metered parking
spots are available on Main Street
for up to two hours. Parking is also available at the nearby Wachovia Bank lot
for a nominal fee.
